HB282-KY's Staffing Agency Legislation Impact on LTC Panel

House Bill 282, Kentucky’s Staffing Agency Legislation Impacts in Long-Term Care & Business Strategies

If you are having trouble registering, please email Angela [email protected] for assistance.

With the passing of House Bill 282, health care staffing agencies are now required to register with the Cabinet for Health & Family Services and submit quarterly reports. This new requirement will give long-term care facilities more transparency regarding the increase in staffing rates and how agency business is conducted. There will be more accountability placed on these agencies that may have exploited these opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic. KAHCF/KCAL has gathered the key players surrounding this legislation to guide our members on how this bill will operate and best practices for working with and negotiating with staffing agencies.

This webinar will be moderated by KAHCF/KCAL Director of Regulatory Affairs, Lisa Biddle-Puffer and conclude with a question and answer period from our members.
