Projected Learning Outcomes/Course Objectives: At the conclusion of each session, the learner will:
- Identify considerations to ensure effective MDS/RAI processes
- Describe the importance and impact of the MDS and supportive documentation for Medicare reimbursement
- Understand the connection between the MDS and Quality Measure management
- Review the CAA process and MDS relationship to comprehensive, person-centered care planning
Course Content
- 15 minutes MDS 3.0 and PDPM
- 15 minutes MDS 3.0 and Quality Measure management
- 15 minutes Care Area Assessments and person-centered care planning
- 10 minutes MDS/RAI oversight and collaboration
- 5 minutes Closing Comments/Q&A

Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities is an approved provider
of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing, #5-0002. To
receive the 1.00 contact hours, you must complete the entire program.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected]. Cancellations
by phone will not be accepted. Cancellations received no later than August 31 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between Sept 1 to September 6 will receive a refund of 1/2. Registrants who
do not attend or who do not complete the full seminar will not receive a
refund unless prior written notice is given to the KAHCF office.
