2023 KAHCF/ KCAL Fall LTC Tour-Florence

Regulatory, Legislative and Reimbursement Updates. We’re coming to a town near you! KAHCF/KCAL experts are hitting the road and embarking on our LTC Tour this Fall. We’ll be talking about reimbursement, legislative, and regulatory topics, as well as providing basic training on survey readiness. On the stop, we want to hear from you and learn about what you’re experiencing in your region. Find us at the nearest location to you –Richmond, Florence, Louisville and Bowling Green.

Reimbursement Update- With the recent increases in Medicaid reimbursement rates, the upcoming transition to PDPM, and the potential rebasing of rates in 2024, come and meet Savannah Wiley, Director of Reimbursement, to discuss what is on the horizon for Medicaid reimbursement.   

Survey Readiness for Skilled Nursing Facilities- With so many new employees and increasing anticipation of annual surveys, your team can never have too much preparation for the next survey. This seminar will present data on common citations in Kentucky as well as discussion on preparing your team, CMS forms, Resident Matrix, CASPER reports, life safety, quality measures, and much more. Presenter: Lisa Biddle-Puffer, Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs

Participants may appeal refund determinations by requesting reconsideration by the Executive Committee. Such appeals must be made in writing within 30 days after the seminar or convention is held.
