Agenda to include:
Listening Session with Kentucky Medicaid Officials-Wouldn’t it be great to meet with government agencies in a casual setting to share how policy and staff interactions affect your day-to-day operations? You will be able to do just that during a listening session with Commissioner Lisa Lee from the Department for Medicaid Services. Medicaid officials want to hear from you! Come ready to share input and comments to assist them in learning about the challenges, benefits, and opportunities surrounding Medicaid policy and your interactions with their staff.
Reimbursement Update- With the recent increases in Medicaid reimbursement rates, the upcoming transition to PDPM, and the potential rebasing of rates in 2024, come and meet with Savannah Wiley, Director of Reimbursement, to discuss what is on the horizon for Medicaid reimbursement.
Survey Readiness for Skilled Nursing Facilities- With so many new employees and increasing anticipation of annual surveys, your team can never have too much preparation for the next survey. This seminar will present data on common citations in Kentucky as well as discussion on preparing your team, CMS forms, Resident Matrix, CASPER reports, life safety, quality measures, and much more. Presenter: Lisa Biddle-Puffer, Director of Quality and Regulatory Affairs.
Adam Mather is set to attend, time of speaking tentative based upon his schedule.
