Social Services Course September 2021

This course is designed for those who have been a Social Service Designee for less than six months or for those interested in becoming a qualified Social Service Designee. This course has numerous updates and serves as a great refresher course for those who are experienced and those interested in re-entering the profession.

Presenter: Grady Browning holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville. He is a licensed Social Worker in the state of Indiana and in the state of Kentucky. Grady has worked in the healthcare industry as a social worker, discharge planner, recruiter, staff development coordinator and social service and activity healthcare consultant. He has over 20+ years’ experience in long term care. Focusing in the areas of social service, activity, QIDP and quality of life, Grady has served as the Senior Consultant for Lacy Beyl & Company, Inc. for the past 19 years. Grady is an instructor for the Indiana State approved Social Service Course, Activity Course and QIDP Course. He has presented multiple seminars and training sessions throughout Indiana and Kentucky focusing on quality of life, person centered care, dementia programming, QIS surveys and quality clinical outcomes for residents.

Continuing Education

The Kentucky Association of Health Care Facilities is an approved provider of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing, #5-0002.  To receive the 12 contact hours, you must complete the entire program. Certificates may be printed once the program evaluation is submitted. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to [email protected] or faxed to 502-425-3431. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted. Cancellations received no later than September 14 will receive a full refund. Cancellations received between September 14 to September 20will receive a refund of 1/2Registrants who do not attend or who do not complete the full seminar will not receive a refund unless prior written notice is given to the KAHCF office.
